Request specific views during check-in to avoid disappointing room placements. The hot tubs are best experienced after a day of hiking.

perfect base for exploring south iceland's stunning landscapes
I loved that I was just a short walk of less than 5 minutes to both the Hekla Centre and Restaurant Kanslarinn, making my stay even more enjoyable while exploring the beautiful surroundings, and the hot tub experience under the stars was a fantastic way to unwind after a day of adventure.

The dining experience was delightful and offered a
good mix of Icelandic dishes, though the service could be quicker, especially during busy times. The hot tubs were an enjoyable retreat after a day of sightseeing, but the wifi left much to be desired, making it hard to stay connected.

I had a comfortable stay here during my visit to iceland. The hot tubs under the stars were a nice bonus, and the breakfast spread offered tasty options like warm bacon and fluffy scrambled eggs. This place exceeded my expectations compared to my last experience in hella, particularly with the cleanliness and the cute atmosphere.

The hot tub outside was a highlight it was open until midnight and beautiful under the stars. The breakfast had so much variety fresh made waffles and great fruit.
It wasn't exactly inexpensive but it was still acceptable.

Had a cozy stay with my niece for 2 nights, enjoying the hot tub and sauna while watching the snow fall around us. The hotel offers great relaxation in the jacuzzi and sauna, making it perfect after exploring Iceland. The only downside was the hot tubs were often busy, but overall it was such a delightful experience! 😊
